Finally, it's (nearly) the "Winter" school break where I can finally pause and reflect. A LOT OF THINGS HAPPENED THIS YEAR. For those who're interested, this is gonna be a long one.
Been through my first semester of art school at DigiPen Insitute of Technology (Singapore campus) pursuing my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Digital Art & Animation. It's hailed as the Havard of game college and known for its high dropout rate. I've learnt a LOT through its gruelling curriculum; it's certainly no place for the unpassionate and undisciplined. Hella exshausting, but fulfilling - that's what keeps me going, knowing that I am finally studying what I am interested in on my journey to be a game artist. Plus my coursemates are awesome too! There be weebs, there be geeks, there be nerds of all kinds here! XD I personally am a gamer-geek myself, so there's plenty to relate and laugh with on this journey.
Year 1 is our foundation year, where we are taught how to work only in the traditiona
